What this website collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are
Padlock Technologies, LLC ("Padlock," "we," "us") operates this website at padlocktech.com. Our office is at 101 Lindenwood Drive, Suite 225, Malvern, PA 19355. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to the services we deliver to clients under contract, which are governed by those agreements.
Information you give us
You can use most of this site without telling us anything. We collect information only when you choose to send it:
- Call-back and contact forms. Name, company, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, how and when you prefer to be reached, and anything you type in the message field.
- Guide request form. Name, work email, company, and the situation you select, so we can send you the guide and follow up if you asked us to.
- Site chat. The questions you type and the answers you receive. If you ask for a call back through the chat, it collects your name, company, email, and phone number, and the chat transcript is attached to that request so the engineer who calls knows what you asked.
- Scheduling. If you book a call, your name and email are passed to Calendly to prefill the booking page, and Calendly collects the booking details under its own privacy policy.
Do not submit passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive data through these forms or the chat. They are for starting a conversation, not for support of existing systems.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) to serve the site, defend it against abuse, and produce aggregate traffic statistics. We do not run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics scripts on this site. The site chat keeps your conversation in your browser's session storage so it survives a page change; it is cleared when you close the tab.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
How we use it
- To respond to your request: call you back, send you the guide, answer your question, or schedule a call.
- To keep a record of that request in our customer relationship system so the right person follows up and we do not ask you the same questions twice.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send marketing email unless you asked for something that involves it (for example, requesting the guide), and every such email includes a way to opt out.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and respond to you. Each one receives only what it needs for its job and is bound by its own privacy terms:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and processes form and chat submissions.
- Resend delivers the email notifications that forward your request to us and, if you requested the guide, the email that delivers it to you.
- Pipedrive is the customer relationship system where your request and any chat transcript are stored.
- Anthropic provides the language model behind the site chat. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate replies and are handled under Anthropic's commercial data terms.
- Calendly handles call scheduling if you book a time.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case the successor would be bound by this policy.
How long we keep it
Form, chat, and scheduling submissions are kept in our customer relationship system for as long as we have a business reason to keep them, typically while we are in contact with you or your company and for a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete your record at any time (see "Your choices"). Server logs are retained by Cloudflare for a short period and then discarded.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form and chat submissions travel encrypted, and access to the systems that store your information is limited to Padlock staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but protecting information is what we do for a living and we apply the same standards to our own systems.
Your choices
- You can browse the site without submitting any information.
- You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us or call (833) 879-7274 and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.
- You can opt out of any email we send by using the link in the email or by replying and asking.
Pennsylvania residents and residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws. We honor them regardless of where you live.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted here for at least 30 days.
