Certified on the platforms your business runs on
Certifications don't protect a network. The people who earn them do. Here is what our team holds, by vendor, and what each one means for the reliability and security of your systems.
No pitch, no contract. The intro call is for understanding your situation, not selling you a solution.
Cisco
Cisco is the backbone of most of the networks we manage, and the platform behind our network access control practice (Cisco ISE and Meraki Access Manager).
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
Cisco's expert-level certification, earned through a written exam and a hands-on lab. What it means for you: the engineers designing your network and troubleshooting it at 2 a.m. have proven they can do it under pressure, on real equipment, not just on paper.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Professional-level certification covering the planning, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise networks, including security and wireless. What it means for you: changes to your switching, routing, and firewalls are made by people who know how those systems fail.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco's foundational routing and switching certification. What it means for you: every engineer on your account shares the same baseline vocabulary and method.
Certified Meraki Network Operator (CMNO)
Meraki's certification for designing and operating cloud-managed networks and wireless. What it means for you: if you run Meraki, your dashboard, policies, and Wi-Fi are configured by people certified on it.
Datto
Datto is the backup and disaster recovery platform we deploy, because it is built to be restored from, not just backed up to.
Datto Certified Advanced Technician (DCAT)
Datto's advanced technician certification, held by two of our engineers. What it means for you: when you need a restore, the person doing it has been trained and tested on exactly that.
CompTIA
Vendor-neutral certifications that set the baseline for everyone who touches your systems.
CompTIA Network+
Vendor-neutral networking certification covering installation, management, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
CompTIA A+
Foundational certification for hardware, operating systems, and end-user devices. What it means for you: desk-side support is done right the first time.
Book my 30-minute intro callThe certifications are the baseline. The intro call is where you find out whether we're the right fit.
Why this page exists
Other managed service providers in Delaware County escalate the network and security problems their own teams can't solve to us. These certifications are part of why. The other part is that every Padlock client gets that same depth from day one, not as an escalation tier.
Certified on what we sell
We hold certifications on the platforms we actually deploy and manage: Cisco, Meraki, Datto, and the CompTIA baseline. No badges for products we don't use.
Kept current
Vendor certifications expire and get retired. We list only what is current and held by people on the team today, so a badge never implies more than it should.
Proof, not promise
Two client engagements with quotes are on our case studies page. That's what the certifications look like in practice.
You might be thinking…
They don't, by themselves. What matters is that the person changing your firewall rule or restoring your backup has been tested on exactly that. Certifications are how you check that without being an engineer yourself.
Many do. Ask them who on your account holds them and whether that person is the one who answers your tickets. With us, the certified engineers are the team, not a tier you escalate to.
Our deepest bench is Cisco and Meraki, and we're open about that. We also manage Microsoft 365, Datto, and multi-vendor environments every day. The intro call will tell you quickly whether your stack is one we should be running.
Thirty minutes. The intro call is free of charge and free of a pitch. Assessments after it are scoped and priced in writing before anything starts.
Book a call, or ask us to call you
A 30-minute intro call. We ask about your business, your network, and what prompted you to reach out, then tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. If an assessment makes sense, we scope it and price it before any work starts. If something is broken right now, call us.
